Hello all, One of the first strategic board games that I played when I first got into boardgaming was Axis & Allies. I loved it! Not only am I a big fan of the WWII era, but I also loved the fact that you could play with 2 players, axis vs allies, or break up each individual power and play with many more people. Then go for Europe 1940 and pacific 1940 to play the large 1940 game. For me 1940 is the best axis and allies game, but it takes longer to play, requires two games that combine together and is a little more complicated.
