It has a 6.5 lift on 35s and I just installed cold air intake 4.56 gears front and back and a 93 octane tune. Jun 28, 2011 · #1 · Jun 28, 2011. Well hell, they kinda fit. They rub on full lock only or if you hit a good dip turning in. They hit on the inner corner so that needs to be trimmed or bent back. Rather surprised as side by side to my 33's these are monsters. There was a 3" difference because they are on 8.5" wheels. You do in fact need a 4in lift to clear 35's as well as trimming. The amount of trimming needed depends on use, driving style, spring rate, vehicle weight, wheel backspacing, tire width, etc. The issue being overlooked here is that the truck in question has tires that do not fit with the use of most drivers.
